Description
QuinStar’s QAT Tunable Shorts provide full waveguide band overage in nine waveguide bands. They cover the frequency range of 26.5 – 220 GHz.
The movable, non-contacting choke-type short circuit operates with high electrical stability over the entire waveguide band. The micrometer drive provides smooth and accurate positional tuning of one-half wavelength at the lowest operating frequency. The micrometer enables precise and repeatable adjustments. Additionally, QAT includes a positive locking feature.
Applications
Tunable Shorts provide a variable short circuit reference plane in waveguide setups. For example, they work well for precision measurements, experimental testing, and developmental tuning.
