Millimeter-Wave Research & Development
QuinStar’s business model comprises three markets: millimeter-wave research and development, programs, and components. R&D is our drive gear. Through both externally and internally funded research, QuinStar engineers continuously redefine the MMIC state-of-the art by improving power, efficiency, and reliability. These accomplishments power our entire business—pushing innovation and success into our program and component gears.
In other words, QuinStar is an R&D-based company. The leading-edge solutions we develop are eventually available through commercialization. Our R&D solutions inform our engineering programs and even our components.
Specifically, QuinStar engineers design MMICs across many III-V processes. These include Gallium Arsenide (GaAs), pseudomorphic high electron mobility transistor (pHEMT), Gallium Nitride (GaN), and Indium Phosphide (InP). Working with the most respected MMIC foundries around the globe, QuinStar has established an extensive design library. Further, our advanced device-modeling techniques are the cornerstone of QuinStar’s R&D efforts.
