QuinStar’s QGH Standard Gain Horns cover the frequency range of 26.5 – 110 GHz in six waveguide bands. The nominal mid-band gain is 24dB. These horns have a pyramidal shape with a rectangular aperture and a rectangular waveguide interface. QuinStar precisely fabricates these horns to control both the aperture size and flare angle. The plating is palladium silver.
QGH horns are useful for a wide variety of applications, such as antenna testing and RF radiation pattern measurement. These horns function as a calibration standard or as reference for antenna gain measurement. They are also used as feed horns for lens and reflector antennas or stand-alone antennas in subsystems.
In addition, QuinStar offers custom horn antennas that produce customer-specific beam shapes and gain covering broad ranges. See QRR for custom feed horns.
