QuinStar’s QEA Broadband Detectors cover the 18 – 170 GHz frequency range in nine waveguide bands. The output voltage is directly proportional to the power level of an RF signal without needing any external DC bias. Broadband Detectors are useful for power detection, monitoring, built-in-test and frequency measurement. They also work well in millimeter-wave test systems with a wide variety of high-impedance oscilloscopes and scalar analyzers. QEA work for both CW and pulsed power measurements. We’ve designed QEA with a very rugged, reliable split-block mechanical design. We offer either positive or negative output voltage polarity. Additionally, we offer detector adaptors to use with scalar network analyzers such as HP or Agilent 8756A.
