QuinStar’s W-Band SSPA is a GaAs-based solid-state power amplifier. This SSPA uses advanced MMICs and discrete devices to achieve state-of-the-art operation at 81 – 86 GHz. Further, its high-efficiency performance comes in a compact (6” x 6” x 3.6”) and lightweight (5 lbs.) housing.
The interface features WR-10 I/O, 10-pin circular DC input, and conduction cooling through the base plate. We designed this amplifier to operate at -10°C to 60°C and to provide over-temperature shutdown. Overall, the design and performance qualities of this W-Band SSPA enable both high-reliability communication links and general test equipment.
